Freshtival is that time at the start of the university year that the powers that be have truly blessed us with. Summer has ended, school has started, but UoB makes this transition more fun. This festival is like no other, not only does it help you get to know the people you’ll be living and working with for the next couple of years, but it also serves as your induction into the quirky, cultural town that is Hastings. And we, the Freshtival team, are excited to show you the best bits. With AAA wristbands costing a mere £49, you are get free entry for all the events we’re about to go list for you! Bargain! |
Saturday, 26th September - You’ve just got to town, not really sure of where to go? The Welcome Hub at Brass Monkey! (located across the street from the Havelock Road university building). This will be your first chance to meet with new and existing students, the Freshtival crew and most importantly, the Student Union team who are in charge of running the upcoming events. Refreshments will be available and the Hub is open from 11am-4pm.
The day doesn’t end here, the fun carries on with the Moving In party at Clambers on Saturday evening. You can either enjoy drinks at the bar or awaken the kid that lies within us all and climb around the large play zone. Whatever you choose, it’ll be fun regardless.
